Shipping Policy

A legal disclaimer

This policy outlines the terms, conditions, and liabilities governing the shipment of goods by Beautiful Heart Creations, a California-based company. It ensures compliance with applicable state and federal laws, including the California Commercial Code, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).

Shipping & Insurance

  • Beautiful Heart Creations is not liable for loss, theft, or damage occurring after goods are transferred to the carrier.

  • Route Package Protection: We highly encourage adding Route Shipping Insurance at checkout. Without this, your package is not guaranteed or insured against loss or damage.

  • Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please take photos immediately and contact both the carrier and Beautiful Heart Creations. We will file a claim on your behalf, but we require customer documentation to proceed.

  • Missing Packages: We are not responsible for packages marked as "Delivered" that go missing (e.g., porch theft). If your package is missing, please contact your local post office to track the GPS delivery coordinates and file a report with local law enforcement.

  • Signature Confirmation: To add signature confirmation to your order, please contact us immediately. An additional fee will apply to cover the service and associated transaction processing fees.

Processing & Shipping Times

  • Standard Orders: Typical processing takes 2–5 business days.

  • Shop Restocks: During high-volume restock events, please allow 10–15 business days for shipping. We pack every order as quickly and safely as possible.

  • Holiday Season: Please note that carrier transit times may increase during peak holiday seasons.

  • The company is not liable for delays or losses caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

  • FPO/APO: We proudly ship to our service members and their families stationed overseas.

Customer Obligations

  • Accurate Information: Customers must provide correct shipping addresses and contact details.

  • Inspection: Customers are responsible for inspecting goods upon delivery and reporting any issues within 48 hours.

  • Compliance: Customers must comply with all applicable import/export laws if goods are shipped outside California or the U.S.

Order Management

  • Multiple Orders: We are happy to combine multiple pending orders. Please leave a note at checkout to alert us. We will refund excess shipping costs once our base shipping and processing fees (typically up to 5%) are covered.

  • Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled prior to shipping, subject to a 5% non-refundable restocking fee. Once an order has shipped, all sales are final.

  • Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel any unshipped order, particularly if we are unable to reach the customer for necessary clarifications.

Shipping Costs & Fees

  • Transparent Pricing: As a small business, we cannot offer "Amazon-style" shipping rates. We pass on commercial shipping rates and include a small handling fee to cover packaging materials, monthly platform fees, and transaction percentages.

  • Domestic Shipping (US): Costs are currently determined by order value to align with flat-rate box sizing.

    • Orders 15.9 oz or less ship via First Class unless the items are too bulky.

  • Excess shipping charges are refunded at our discretion.
